Randy

Randy is a punk rock band from Hortlax, Sweden, formed in 1992. They were first inspired by skate punk bands like NOFX and Propagandhi but after the release of The Rest Is Silence and the depart of their bass player Patrik Trydvall, they radically changed their musical style and adopted a older sound reminiscent of Thin Lizzy, The Misfits and Ramones. In 2000, they were signed by Burning Heart, a sub label to Epitaph. So far, they have released six albums. The latest album is called Randy the Band. Randy have been dropped from Burning Heart Records and are currently seeking a new label to release a new album during summer 2009.

Propagandhi

Propagandhi is a Canadian punk band formed in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba in 1986 by Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky. The band is currently located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

While their earlier work draws from the punk rock and skate punk tradition, recent Propagandhi records have moved towards a heavier, heavy metal-influenced sound.

The band are an active veganarchist band supporting animal liberation and vegan lifestyles. They are known for championing various anarchist causes and have taken an active stance against human rights violations, sexism, racism, homophobia, imperialism, fascism, capitalism and religion.

nofx

NOFX (pronounced "no ef-ex") is an NOFX punk rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California (now based in San Francisco), in 1983. The band was formed by vocalist and bassist Fat Mike and guitarist Eric Melvin. Drummer Erik Sandin joined them shortly afterward. In 1991 El Hefe joined to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up. The band rose to popularity in 1994 with their album Punk in Drublic which was certified gold. Frenzal Rhomb

Frenzal Rhomb is an Australian punk rock band that formed in 1993, based in the city of Sydney. The band's current lineup is Jason Whalley (vocals), Lindsay McDougall (guitar), Tom Crease (bass) and Gordy Foreman (drums). McDougall is also responsible for Rock Against Howard, a compilation by Australian musicians against John Howard's government.

Descendents

The Descendents are an American punk rock band from Hermosa Beach, California. Descendents were formed in 1978 by guitarist Frank Navetta, bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson. Their first release -- the only one with this lineup -- was "Ride the Wild"/"It's a Hectic World".

In 1980 they enlisted Stevenson's old schoolfriend Milo Aukerman as a singer, and reappeared as a punk band, becoming a major player in the hardcore scene developing in Los Angeles at the time. Their first release with Aukerman, 1981's Fat EP, was a furious six-minute barrage of teen angst and goofball humour, featuring such songs as "My Dad Sucks" and the eleven-second "Wienerschnitzel".

Their debut album the following year, Milo Goes to College, introduced an element of melody and sensitivity that set them apart from most other hardcore bands. They sang about being (and wanting to be) rejected ("I'm Not A Loser", "I Wanna Be A Bear", "Parents"), girls ("Hope", "Myage", "Marriage", "Kabuki Girl"), fishing ("Catalina"), and other subjects not normally discussed by their peers. Songwriting was shared among the band members, and Stevenson's songs in particular were to greatly influence the melodic punk-pop bands of the 1990s.
